Self Portrait / An exploration in both technique & inner reflection. It can be enticing to default to what you’ve always done because you can anticipate the results & for the most part it is comforting. But is that all there is? I’m challenging this outcome by crawling out from under that comfort & pushing my process in new directions. I’m attempting to be more courageous in brush strokes, composition, narrative & palette... one step at a time. Hold tight to your progress no matter how small or fragile it may feel... you are making a wonderful difference!
