“The intent of the design proposal is centred around strengthening a greater sense of place & in turn a greater connection to the school site. When we have a sense of belonging we naturally desire to contribute to the overarching values represented by the community. This work is to celebrate the essential partnership(s) between students, parents, teachers & community that cause these values to flourish & in turn promote JBSC as one of Perth’s leading educational facilities. The extended narrative encompasses the larger natural site & it’s connection to the surrounding endemic flora inclusive of the banksia; a visual representation to encourage perseverance & resilience within the school community .”
